MYCOCHAR is a mycorrhizal root inoculant tailored specifically to be used when planting trees and other woody shrubs. 

Spores from a wide variety of mycorrhizal fungi are responsibly (and painstakingly!) gathered from wild growing mushrooms and carefully blended into char fines from sustainably managed coppice woodlands, acting as the perfect carrier medium. 

The result is a granular material that is a convenient and effective way to deliver a great diversity of the right kinds of spores directly to the root systems of young trees at planting time, giving the opportunity for those all-important mycorrhizal relationships to establish from the earliest moments in the tree’s life.
